About Pascal Ehrlich
I started flying in Wilmington NC in 1994. I taught piloting for several years in the United States, gaining precious experience in a prime aviation environment. After a 2+ year career-shaping job with Flight Safety International in Teterboro, I went from the simulator cockpit to an ACTUAL Falcon 50EX. Geneva Nice. Crystal clear visuals. That was 2003. And now 17 years later I am proud to say that I have had a fantastic time flying various Dassault Falconsroup with a great group of aviation professionals.Over 6000 hours of international flying reaching as far South as Neuquen, Argentina, as far East as Shanghai, as far North as Sondrestromfjord on Greenland and to the great American West.Best wishes to all.
Listed skills include Aircraft, Commercial Aviation, Flight Safety, Aviation, and 11 others.

Captain Contract Flying
International flight operations for contract pilot brokers and for direct clients.
Captain 900Ex 50Ex
This EJM account, based in the NY area was a mostly domestic flying operation, centered on business locations along the east coast of the United States. We would occasionally fly the 50EX and the 900EX to and from Europe, as well as vacation locations in the Caribbean. All aircraft were FANS1A-equipped and the 900EX was fully approved for FANS1A operations. Most of our destinations were served by LPV approaches which we used extensively.
Captain Falcon 900 Easy
In 2010 I had the privilege of piloting our brand new Falcon 900LX on its shakedown flight straight out of Jet Aviation completion center in Basel, Switzerland. These were uniquely exciting times. This aircraft was then operated in the same fashion as the 50EX, for the same clients. Our flight program included common european destinations, Middle East, occasional Africa, Americas (North and South) and China. My duties as a Globaljet pilot encompassed standard PIC responsibilities as well as providing optimal support to the client as needed. The operation on the 900LX unfolded safely from 2010 to 2015. I had the privilege of flying with very competent colleagues who were very professional and safety-minded throughout.
Captain Falcon 50Ex
Same as on Falcon 900 EX Easy. The Falcon 50EX was operated on the same segments as the 900LX when it was added to the fleet. In fact at the very beginning the Falcon 50EX was considered to be suitable broadly for flights within Europe (Central and Eastern) and destinations along the Mediterranean. Within months the operation began using this aircraft for much longer segments to New York with fuelling stops usually in Gander and Keflavik, in all seasons. I had first performed such flights as an SIC on the 900B and the 50EX based in Geneva. This experience proved helpful in extending the utility of our Falcon 50EX for clients who were discovering the potential of this aircraft. Today longer range aircraft are preferred for such transatlantic segments. The Falcon 50EX is sometimes considered inconvenient because of the need to refuel. And yet, it will perform proudly on long flights and the refueling stop can be seen as a welcome break.
Copilot Falcon 900B/C
I joined this aircraft as a copilot. This operation was known for its international reach and the transfer afforded me the opportunity to fly internationally and long-range very frequently. The operation flew to regularly from Switzerland to the Caribbean, the Middle East and North and Equatorial Africa. The breadth of experience acquired with the support of the more seasoned PICs was priceless and opened the way for my upgrade on the Falcon 50EX in 2007.
Copilot Falcon 50Ex
In April 2003 I was offered a great opportunity to fly as SIC full-time on a new Falcon 50EX based in Geneva Switzerland. I remember the first flight from Geneva to Nice mentored by a Swiss Dasssault Mirage pilot (a cousin of the Falcon 50EX) and thinking to myself:"These visuals are incredible." I had spent several years at Flight Safety Teterboro teaching avionics and simulator initial courses on the 50EX. Whenever possible I would spend time in the 50EX simulator practicing manoeuvers, flying approaches, simulating abnormal situations and more. The 220 degree visuals would end with a view of the simulator's lateral hardware. From Geneva to Nice everything was crisp and the horizon formed an unlimited arc. This Geneva-based operation was private and charter - I was initiated to the special challenges of mountain airports, London City approaches, Innsbruck, and much much more. The capabilities of the Falcon 50EX were used extensively. I was able to log over 1600 hours in the span of three years on the three-pilot operation, much of it in on-demand charter for Globaljet Luxemburg under whose AOC we operated.
Simulator Instructor
I started here as a classroom instructor specializing, after training, in teaching Proline 4 glass cockpit operation. Quite soon after I was given the opportunity to acquire a type rating on the 50EX and also worked as a sim instructor. Toward mid-2002 I was appointed quality manager in preparation for ISO certification. I underwent ISO quality management training and initiated the process of certification. At the end of my time at FSI I was teaching initial / recurrent sim, classroom refresher courses, conducting initial quality audits and planning implementation of the QMS.
Chief Flight Instructor
Maintenance coordination, document control, record-keeping, flight intsructor qualification, stage checking of Part 141 enrolees, flight instruction, check ride signoffs.
Lecturer And Flight Instructor
I was hired to teach Advanced Aircraft Systems and Aviation History to students enrolled in the university's aviation program. I partnered with the establishement's dean who was a former TWA pilot and flight engineer. We developped course material on aircraft systems found on 1990's airliners. This course covered hydraulics, pneumatics, pressurization, high lift devices, flight control mechanisms and redundancy, fuel systems, power plants and so forth. My own grasp of the subject matter at the time was adequate for this introductory teaching. Aviation History covered early trials, the Wright Brothers, post WWI aviation developments and the rapid innovations that were brought about by WW2 military aviation and the advent of commercial jet propulsion in the 50s. Parallel to classroom work the school operated a small fleet of bran new Piper aircraft we had had the privilege of picking up in Vero Beach. The flying environment was spectacular in and around Puerto Rico. Cross country flights might be leave from Isla Grande airport, stop in Culebra, then Fajardo and back to our point of origin. Last but not least I was welcomed in San Juan by Hurricane George that left our airport mangled. Our fleet and guest aircraft had been packed into a solid hangar and survived unscathed.
