As a trade magazine publisher, you're constantly battling a mass of information and news from all different directions, whether it's from a company with a large market share, the small start-up that's coming up with a new innovation, or the numerous independent experts. In my position as "working student of the editorial department", I helped the TeDo Verlag to counter this flood of information. I researched carefully, edited, corrected in line with publishing standards, and worked my way into complex topics that I had never heard of before, or only marginally. I developed a particular curiosity for one topic (IoT) and was therefore assigned more responsibility in this domain. Soon I took care of content for the corresponding website, the weekly newsletter and soon also the quarterly magazine (IoT Design). In doing so, I worked with numerous systems such as WordPress or QuarkXPress and a great team that was always there when problems arose.

In Germany, 327,453 people are still injured in traffic accidents alone every year. In order to always be prepared for an emergency and to lose the fear of "improper help ", the German Red Cross offers first aid courses throughout Germany. As part of the instructors of the DRK-Rhein-Hunsrück I provided an understandable presentation and preparation for these very emergency situations. In doing so, I learned how to address and reach people from different educational backgrounds and age groups.
