I am currently a Director at RSM Canada, joining the Financial Investigations and Dispute Services team in April 2022. Prior to joining RSM Canada, I worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP for over two years and KPMG LLP for over 13 years in the Advisory Forensics Services group. I am a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA), and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF). For the past 18 years, I have specialized in the areas of forensic investigations/administrative investigations, forensic investigations of contract costs, and forensic investigation of contribution agreements, stakeholder/shareholder conflicts, fraud awareness training and fraud risk assessments. Such assignments have been completed on behalf of governments (Federal, Provincial and Municipal), financial institutions, non-profit organizations, publicly traded companies and private sector companies. These assignments have been completed in a wide range of industries including government, construction, medical, property management, transportation, retail, manufacturing, high tech, aboriginal organizations, property management, not for profit and mining. Recognizing the litigious nature of these assignments, most of them entailed some form of legal proceedings. As a result, I have been qualified as an expert witness in Saskatchewan, Ontario and Newfoundland and was involved in legal proceedings involving the attendance at examinations for discovery and cross-examinations.
