Project Manage the following applications of the portfolio: Approved Product Catalogue Index (APCI), Marine Insurance Unit System (MIUS), Marine Technical Review Board (MTRB), Pleasure Craft Operator Competency Database System (PCOCDS), Small Vessel Compliance Program (SVCP) et Vessel Registration Query System (VRQS), Ship Registry Computer System (SRCS) , Small Commercial Vessel Registry System (SCVRS) include in the TC Dispatch & Tracking System (TC-DTS). Manage and administer application project releases, bug fixes and enhancements working with the Application Developer to fix it and release those fixes to production. Work closely with the client and application developer to develop resolution plans for these projects. Manage the resources (programmer-analysts (consultants & employees), business analyst and technical writer) working on the applications of my portfolio. Lead the decommissioning process initiatives for old non WCAG compliant. In charge of the Small Commercial Vessel Registry System (SCVRS) application redevelopment capital project and its project management. Continue to participate to the Architecture Technology Framework Working Group in that assignment. Manage the MSS applications testing coordination on the new Windows 7 platform. Execute the Employee Performance Management activities throughout the year (including the evaluation) and help employees to establish their learning plans.

 Create and stand-up the new Web and Technical Services (WTS) section of IM-IT Manage the WTS team of the Operations Support and Web Services (OSWS) branch of IM-IT. Manage projects to update or improve the Infrastructure Canada servers infrastructure such as the relocation of the SIMSI2 environments from an outsourced provider to a GoC data center; the SIMSI2 Permissions Model Testing and Implementation; the preparation of the Project Proposal for INFC Server Platform Upgrades;  Support and maintain the INFC hosted infrastructure in partnership with SSC including INFC internet and INFRAnet infrastructure support; Geomatics Infrastructure Support and Maintenance; Establish the Configuration Management for all components of the SIMSI2 infrastructure Manage the pilot, lead the troubleshooting and coordinate the project for the replacement of Citrix by the Government of Canada Secure Remote Access (GCSRA) solution and do the clean-up of eVault folders, all this as part of the Email Transformation Initiative (ETI) transition. Use the Lean process to do the shared drives clean-up and prepare the department for the migration to GCDocs. Coordinate the Release Deployment Management process of INFC Manage the development, support and maintenance of the INFC internet and INFRAnet containers Coordinate discussions between the Bridges group of INFC and TC Programs and establish a MOU to use a TC GIS application to answer requirements for a Real Property Information Management System. Identify and analyze impacts of new tools and/or technologies on the INFC Server Infrastructure. Manage and supervise a group of employees and consultants working in WTS. Provide IM/IT advices and recommendations to senior management on various subjects related to our area of expertise.  Execute the Employee Performance Management activities throughout the year (including the evaluation) and help employees to establish their learning plans.

 Manage projects to update or improve the Transport Canada web infrastructure such as the replacement of the web statistics software; the implementation of a secure intranet infrastructure for protected B applications; the development of corporate custom applications to help web developers to convert their application to WCAG 2.0 of the government of Canada; the implementation of the new web farm solution of TC (using hardware Network Load Balancers, SAN & IIS/OS Management & DFS for File Replication) ; the replacement of Secure Channel ePass by Access Key; the replacement of access key by GCKey and “Secure Key Concierge”; the creation of the Secure File Transfer application for Protected A / Non classified (SFTA) or Protected B (SFTB) information. Identify and analyze impacts of new tools and/or technologies on the TC Web Infrastructure. Lead a working group on TC DMZ Oracle DBLink Architecture to help resolve issues discovered with TC's network, web and database infrastructure with various IT stakeholders colleagues of all TC areas. Manage projects to elaborate corporate generic solutions essential for web developers and that are, particularly, used as libraries in their applications. We have for examples: TCMailer that allows to manage the way to send emails, CLFPage that allows adding the CLF or WCAG shell (headers, sides and footers), TCRedirect that allows the redirection of links that have been moved, etc.  Manage and supervise a group of employees, consultants and students (website technical administrators,Web Statistics administrator,programmer-analyst and coop student) working on the projects of the CWMS group. Provide IM/IT advice and recommendations to senior management on various issues (especially web).  Work closely with and elaborate the web infrastructure projects, such as the Web Content Management (Open Text – RedDot) and Google Search Appliance (GSA), with Electronic Communications group client representing the “TC entity”.
