Born & raised in Paris - Catering Scholl of Paris for 5 years - I moved to Toronto in 1999. After different positions as manager in different restaurants through the city, I opened "MIDI" a small French bistro located downtown, closed to the AGO. I sold it in 2011, took some time off, and opened "BIVY" on Dundas Street W.After 2 years I partnered with Chef Jean-Régis and transformed Midi to "Le Baratin" a traditional, still modern French bistro, which reflects more my strong fondness for classic French bistro fares and atmosphere - nothing fancy or superfluous, just as authentic as possible.In 2020, due to Covid-19, I had time to create & develop "La Cave du Baratin" an on-line wine shop, beside making Le Baratin a bottle shop. With a larger selection on line, I offer French only wines, as it's what I know best, having tasting many over the past 30 years.An adventure & story to be continuated!
