My duties involved maintaining the SMS infrastructure, creation and testing of custom software packages and producing SMS reports. I was also heavily involved with network support (troubleshooting), maintaining the Trusts IT security systems, external services such as email, Internet access and remote access and configuration of the firewall. The network incorporated 4 site locations connected by various LAN/WANs and consisted of over 100 servers and over 2000 desktops/laptops. I have knowledge and experience in IIS. I have also initiated, created and maintained the IT website for staff. I was the main implementer for the desktop deployment process and carried out sufficient testing to minimise impact prior to distributing PC/Laptop images/builds.I carried out the testing and implementation of new technologies and project work.
