I joined the GEF Secretariat in June 2015 as Sr. Climate Change Specialist. With the launch of the new GEF-7 cycle, I changed as Sr. Environmental Specialist in September 2018, mainly focused on Forests and other land uses.Over the past 20 years of my career, I have had the opportunity to develop activities in different areas of the sustainable development, including forestry, biodiversity, agriculture and climate change and for different kind of organizations: private companies, national Government and international organizations (FAO, ECLAC and now World Bank Group). My diversified missions provided me with a broad range of experiences in the international cooperation for the sustainable development.

As expert on wood industries and climate change mitigation for the Policy Directorate-General of the French ministry of agriculture, food and forest, my main responsibilities were:- Active representation of the French ministry of agriculture, food and forest in many meetings with other institutions and the private sector, in order to elaborate positions and reports for the implementation of national ongoing action plans and studies aiming at developing the wood-based industry sector;- Contribution to the elaboration of the new laws on agriculture and forestry and on energy transition through reviewing draft versions of these laws and responding to change proposals made by members of French Parliament;- Management of the new 30 M€ national program for the mobilization of forest biomass for wood energy, including the organization of the work with the other parties involved in my ministry, the coordination with the other parties involved from the ministry of ecology and from the National Agency of Energy and Environment and also the realization of the actions relating to my duties (in particular reviewing the technical measures proposed and building the financial instruments);- Contributions to the French position in the international negotiations on climate change (in the context of the European Union and the UNFCCC);- Elaboration of several notes on forestry sector and climate change to inform the French Minister of agriculture, food and forest;- Regular contacts with many partners, especially representatives of the private sector, on behalf of the French ministry of agriculture, food and forest.
