Business Analysts in Financial Risk act as the liaison between business users, the product manager and the development team of our balance sheet risk management application (Ambit Focus). Analyze the business requirements to identify problems and opportunities, and define solution characteristics to solve the identified problems in a way that the business requirements of our clients are met. Also represent the product management team as an active participant in the development process and in various client engagements with the following main responsibilities:- Discuss business requirements and potential problems with our clients and business users, our implementation consultants, and all other functional stakeholders of Ambit Focus- Analyze the business requirements to define the required solution characteristics- Preparation of functional specifications (user stories) which define the business requirements of our customers- Present user stories to external stakeholders (i.e. clients and prospects) and internal stakeholders (i.e. senior management, professional service) to collect and incorporate relevant feedback- Present and explain user stories to the development team- Act as primary point of contact for the development teams for day to day discussions of the specific requirements of the user stories- Prioritize effort of development teams and defines characteristics of features which have high priority and those which can be ignored- Makes sure that software features meet the acceptance criteria of clients and prospects- Guides quality assurance during development cycle to make sure that newly developed features are properly tested and documented

- Calculation of Economic Capital for Interest Rate Risk on Banking Book (Earnings-at-Risk Approach): advising in model calibration and dynamic balance sheet simulation- Performance Management of Business Units and Products (Funds-Transfer-Pricing Approach): advisory role in defining and spreading the benchmark curve, functional solution design and lead technical implementation- Introduce an Economic Liquidity Risk Framework (Survival Horizon Approach): advisory role in defining sound liquidity risk drivers and stress assumptions, implement dynamic stress scenarios and reports

- Implement Market Risk Projects (Basel II Standardized Approach, Value at Risk Calculations and Hedge Accounting)- Optimization of Debt Management of Swiss Fiscal Authority (including dynamic Asset and Liability Management)- Functional and Technical Specifications and Documentations

- Implement Market and Credit Risk Management Solutions in several Private Banks- Software Solution Specification with regard to Market and Credit Risk Standard Approach in Basel II- Assist in Reporting of a Private Bank- Test new Market and Credit Risk Management Software Solution- Create new Training Material and Product Documentation
