Continental Tires Digital Solutions Competence Center develops the latest, most innovative digital tire management systems.In my role as Head of Makers Garage I am reponsible for building up and managing the Continental Tires Makers Garage. This is a platform for students from various backgrounds to develop ideas and innovations in the area of Digital Solutions Tires. It focuses on feasibility studies, desirability studies developing business models, dynamic prototyping, and technology benchmarking.RESPONSIBILITIES◾ Collaboration with stakeholders from different areas to align program set-up on strategic and operational level, aiming to achieve substantial impact for the organization.◾ Managing innovation projects in an agile manner to test the feasibility and desirability of ideas.◾ Recruiting of students, building a diverse team which is enthusiastic about diving into solving problems.◾ Guiding students from different backgrounds methodically and technically, ensuring a learning environment to support students in their professional growth.◾ Communicating complex topics to a diverse audience in a simple way, sustaining the reporting of project status and outcomes.

RESPONSIBILITIES◾ Collaborated with IT management as a business partner to provide financial support and advice, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.◾ Led budgeting, forecasting, and month/year-end closing activities, enforcing accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.◾ Managed project activities within IT Controlling, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion in an agile project set-up.◾ Developed cost management framework for cloud-based services implementing cost saving measures to improve efficiency as well as service-based allocation of cloud costs.◾ Conducted ad-hoc financial analyses to support decision-making and problem-solving within the organization.◾ Evaluated and approved IT investment proposals to ensure alignment with strategic goals and financial objectives.◾ Responsible for cause-based cost allocation to maintain fair and accurate performance measurement across legal entities and global operations.
