•Ensure technical and administrative services are provided to exceed the requirement of RRC customers.•Communicate to the customer the status of their engines in, the cost estimate to service their engine and technical issues regarding their engines.•Issue service instructions for each engine to the shop in accordance with the customer’s requirements.•Support WIP in a dedicated and persistent manner to ensure the customer’s cost, reliability and turnaround time expectations are met.•Generate reports and recommendations to management that assist in achieving RRC’s financial targets.•Resolve issues and deficiencies related to engines on the shop and at test.•Work with RRD and Corporate Care engines to minimise shop visit cost and turn time.•Welcome customers at RRC and perform scrap review, shop visit tour and invoice negotiations.•Customers and shop floor 24/7 on call coverage.•Put through and/or maintain different projects at RRC: Responsible for the C-20 program for Northrop Grumman/US Government. •Plan and maintain repair and build planning in accordance with the engine manuals. •Prime member of the Material Review Board (MRB) and responsible for non-conform materials, evaluation, investigation and disposition.•Carry out investigation•Preparation of methods planning documents for the purpose of modification, repairing, testing, stripping, building, inspecting and conforming engines and their components.•Estimates labour, engineering, material and processing costs which are defined in OEM and customer documentation.•Review deviations and non-conforming material in Material Review Board (MRB) or on Build History Sheets (BHS) and makes decisions to scrap, rework or hold pending further detailed review in accordance with company and airworthiness regulations and policies.•Plan in conjunction with supervisor, detailed activity to produce statistical data to collect/build estimating library, tool data base, scrap incidence and repair arising.•Review rejected material and identify opportunities for salvage where appropriate.•Participate in investigation and development work within RRC or jointly with subcontractors and vendors, to demonstrate and justify the suitability of purposed repairs. Issues technical reports as necessary, obtain approvals for repair instructions in accordance with RRC Quality Control Procedures (QCP) requirements.•Issue repair and new build instructions, including shop floor computer routings.•Maintain adherence with established OEM repair specifications, and establishes new standards where required, in conjunction with metallurgical, chemical and NDT groups.•Ensure that RRC remain conversant with existing and new processes, materials and methods associated with repair and product improvement.•Responsible to answer Engineering Service Request (ESR) and to amend documentations in accordance with the Engine Manual updates.•Responsible to develop or maintain engine repair schemes in accordance with the engine manual.
