Responsible for overseeing relief operations in Tigray Region, developing intervention programs, seeking funding opportunities, liaising with partners, and representing FH with donors and other stakeholders such as national disaster management agencies and United Nations entities, i,e Cluster meetings.

Provided leadership to the National response in developing its two-year strategy to its implementation, inclusive of performance and oversight of all aspects of the response. Developed and maintained an efficient, cohesive team, whilst ensuring effective coordination and relationships with other agencies, officials, beneficiaries, donors and all areas of Partnership. Fruitfully advocated for DME department in the Office up to the hire of a MEAL Team Leader to support all M&E across the Country. I successfully implemented an OFDA Grant leading to the 3rd phase and effectively implemented the first year of a three-year GF grant with LLINs mass distribution in a timely record. Ensured Office financial port - folio growth from around $30 Million to more than $60 Million and quality implementation with more than 157 staff.
