Working within the Robotic Aerial Mobility Group, focusing on the topic of safe landing site detection for autonomous rotorcraft landing.- Development of a local robot-centric 2.5D multi-resolution elevation map that aggregates vision-based 3D measurements seamlessly based on their corresponding pixel footprint.- A map fusion algorithm that incorporates depth measurements according to their lateral surface resolution (pixel-footprint) based on the concept of dynamic Level of Detail (LoD).- Efficient landing site detection that extracts safe landing sites based on slope, roughness and map quality, exploiting the multi-resolution structure.Master Thesis - grade 5.75:- Multi-Resolution Elevation Mapping and Safe Landing Site Detection for an Autonomous Rotorcraft

Core Member of the Zürich Team taking part in the Formula Student Electric competition (FSAE) during the 2016/2017 season. The team consist of about 17 core members and finished the season at the first place of the world ranking. I was part of both the Suspension and Controls Departments, my work packages included:- Vehicle Dynamics; simulation and setting all key suspension parameters (kinematics)- Tires; test truck and on-track testing, analysis and tire choice- Vehicle Dynamics Controls; torque vectoring and traction control- Energy Managment- Vehicle Testing, Setup and Data Analysis- Representing Vehicle Dynamics at design competition
