Duties: Collection of COVID-19 samples following SOPs using the recommended PPE. Collect other clinical specimens from patients into appropriate containers as per applicable SOPs. Perform sample processing and laboratory tests following standard operating procedures. Timely reporting of results according to the standard Lab protocols. Perform routine permitted end user maintenance of laboratory equipment. Maintain the highest standards of bio safety practices and waste segregation in the Laboratory. Laboratory reagents preparation, culture media preparation and stain preparation. Perform analyses on routine, UVRI PTA, and study samples as per SOPs. Ensure lab equipment is serviced on time, well maintained, and daily record of fridge temperatures. Ensuring quality assurance and quality control at all levels. Any other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor. Executing other duties as assigned by the lab manager for effective running of the lab.
