- Manage cancer genomics bioinformatics projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and alignment with scientific goals.- Oversee genomic dataset management, storage, and curation while maintaining data integrity, privacy, and facilitating data sharing.- Supervise and mentor bioinformatics staff, promoting collaboration, productivity, and professional development.- Analyze large-scale genomic data to identify genetic mutations and biomarkers associated with cancer development and treatment response.- Collaborate with experts to develop, optimize, and implement oncology genomic data analysis algorithms and methods.- Integrate multi-omics data for a comprehensive understanding of cancer mechanisms and potential therapeutic targets.- Partner with oncologists, biologists, and geneticists to interpret genomic findings and design experiments.- Assist with grant proposals and funding applications for cancer genomics research projects.- Share research findings at conferences, publish in journals, and communicate genomic information to non-experts.
