Rubber Process Simulation Expert and Project Leader, (2018 – Present)Process Simulation:• Project leader and simulation expert for the simulation of rubber mixing compound with innovative approaches based on Reduced Order Model and hybrid machine learning to improve the accuracy of a simulation tool used by the community of rubber compound industrializers.• Coordinator of an external consortium on the Scale-Up of rubber compound mixing with a budget of 1.4 million euros comprising academic doctorates, the development of a tailor-made laboratory equipment and a 3D CFD software optimized for unsteady multiphase mixing simulations targeted at advanced analysis. • Project leader for calendaring simulation design to anticipate scorch problems assisting material designers and industrializers in reducing the time to market for new rubber tissue.Data-Science:• Development of a machine learning model using TensorFlow to predict from the mix formulas the viscous properties used in process simulations to circumvent measurements bottlenecks and reduce testing costs.Software Developer for Finite Element Tire Simulation, (2009 – 2017)High-Performance Computing:• Leader of a collaboration on the evolution of domain decomposition library (FETI) and development for its integration into the tire simulation code to accelerate the parallel execution with MPI.• Parallelization with MPI of the explicit finite element code for tire simulation used for robust simulation of impact problems such as a tire rolling hitting a sidewalk.C++ development:• Development of a tool for the insertion and propagation of 3D cracks based on the integration of the Z-cracks library developed by ONERA into the in-house finite element tire simulation software to study the effect of crack propagation on tire endurance problems.
