Pascal Uwimana, BA and CPA candidate: Grants ManagerMr. Pascal Uwimana is currently a Finance and Administration Director at RD Rwanda since 2017 and works closely with the country senior leadership team for the successful management of the research projects. He continues to support all research projects management at RD Rwanda projects, pre-award and post-award grant management operations, and policy components, he deals with the procurement and supply chain management and is, therefore, the Grants Manager with a focus on budgeting, invoicing and reporting the financial statements by respecting the costs and accounting principles. Mr. Uwimana has obtained his bachelor degree of science in accounting in 2017 from University of Rwanda (UR), school of finance and economics and is pursuing his CPA (Certified Public Accountant) course certificate. He has several grants management trainings including the trainings in Research Grants Administration through G11 training grant (NIAID, Professor Adebola) by the Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Office of Grant support. As there is a great deal of administrative and financial effort required in running daily grant activities, Mr. Uwimana will assist in monitoring and management of all aspects related to the budgets.
