I am a master student at TU Wien and I am currently working on my master thesis on high dimensional quantum computing. In my quantum technical blueprint internship at Alice & Bob I worked on quantum theory of superconducting cat qubits estimating the yield of quantum processors by doing Monte-Carlo simulations.After doing my Bachelor thesis at the IPP Garching in cooperation with TU Wien, I did an experimental work at the ATI where I developed a laser system for single-atom control in an optical cavity for quantum simulation. Before I started my master thesis in Marcus Huber group I also conducted a project work on high dimensional entanglement to verify genuine multipartite entanglement using an SDP (semidefinite program).There are many different ways to utilize the higher dimensional Hilbert space when doing quantum computation and so there are many open questions that I want to tackle in my future studies.
