In a Joint-Venture with Taiwan Cooperative Bank where BNPP Cardif has a 49% share, I managed the Actuarial and Finance departments. In a Joint-Venture with Bank of Beijing where BNPP Cardif had recently acquired a 50% share, and in a predominantly Chinese environment, I led both Risk and Compliance teams to reinforce the Risk framework of the company. We implemented a new CROSS Risk Appetite Framework, reinforced Risk department with dedicated technical RM team and improved the company SARMRA regulatory inspection rating.

In a recently acquired entity, I was leading the Finance & Actuarial division: Pricing, Valuation, Planning and Accounting departments. With a team of 10 people, we were responsible for supporting the business development along with implementing BNPP Cardif risk management framework and reporting standards.

In BNP Paribas Cardif Asian regional office, I was responsible of coordinating the implementation of a Performance Management framework derived from each entity Strategic Plan. Alongside, I participated in various mission, including M&A projects, new entity integration, Risk management support and Data Analytics deployment.

In State Bank of India Life, an Indian Joint Venture with the largest bank in India where BNPP Cardif had a 26% stake, I was in charge of ALM and underwriting risk monitoring. With a team of 5 people, we reinforced the ALM framework, developed an automatized experience analysis tool and participated in the implementation of a company-wide Risk Appetite project inspired from Solvency 2 standards.

Following the creation of a new JV and the increasing share of Market Risk in Taiwanese entities, I was appointed ALM Manager, a newly introduced department. With a small team of 2 people, we created the ALM monitoring framework and worked closely with Investment, Actuarial and Product development to coordinate and control the Market Risk exposure.
