With more than three years of hands-on experience in process engineering and microfabrication, I actively address sensor and packaging engineering challenges for the next-generation detectors at DECTRIS Ltd, a renowned leader in hybrid X-ray and electron detector technology. In this role, I specialize in the design and fabrication of innovative prototypes, drawing upon my expertise in lithography, thin film deposition, and advanced analytical techniques, notably SEM.Furthermore, I assume a pivotal role in managing the current production processes, actively contributing to ongoing enhancements by meticulously evaluating and certifying novel tools and processes, thereby elevating both the quality of our products and the efficiency of our manufacturing operations. My responsibilities also extend to mentoring and guiding emerging engineers, fostering their growth within the team.My enduring passion for physics, combined with a deep-seated thirst for foundational knowledge, led me to pursue a master's degree at ETH Zürich. There, I completed my master's thesis in the esteemed Quantum Coherence Lab under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Dominik Zumbühl. During this enriching period, I gained invaluable exposure to various state-of-the-art cleanroom techniques commonly utilized in the micro and nanofabrication of III-V semiconductor devices. These include optical and e-beam lithography, thin film deposition, etching, and annealing techniques. For characterization and low-temperature quantum transport experiments, I employed dilution refrigerators and conducted low-noise lock-in measurements.Reflecting my curiosity, I seized an exceptional opportunity to participate in an international exchange program, furthering my academic horizons at KAIST, one of Korea's preeminent research universities. This experience broadened my perspective and allowed me to glean insights from a diverse academic and cultural milieu.I am genuinely motivated by DECTRIS's mission to leverage cutting-edge technology to propel scientific discovery and fuel industrial applications.
