I manage a team of professionals that is responsible for taking care of our in service clients. These (inter)national clients, ranging from asset managers to institutional investors, have outsourced their performance measurement to us. This puts us in a very central role in their process. We ensure the proper, timely, complete and correct data intake from their custodians, arrange for contracts and market data feeds from data vendors and bring everything together in our proprietary performance solution. This solution is used to generate tailor made performance reports, for which a clear understanding of our client needs and goals is essential. In the end it should be plain and easy to identify and quantify what the good and the not so good decisions were. In my day to day work I am in frequent contact with all parties listed above. I have a clear and good understanding of our client needs and am able to use my knowledge and experience to advice and sometimes educate my clients.
