A seasoned executive, Pascal has extensive experience of the life sciences sector and a proven ability to establish high-level links with industry, academia, NGOs and institutions to foster productive alliances. Trained as a physician with an MBA, he worked for several years as a specialist in hospital emergency medicine. He then moved into industry, working in pharmaceutical and biotech companies of different sizes and cultures, mainly in international management positions, and cofounded different companies. He has acquired solid expertise in business, R&D and management. Over the course of his career, he has been General Manager of several leading academic and professional organizations. The therapeutic areas involved have been numerous, including cancer, CNS and metabolic diseases. The above activities were carried out in numerous countries on five continents. In these different roles, he has always met or exceeded the objectives set, and has succeeded in recruiting, training and motivating people to achieve them.
