In this capacity, I:i) Advise the secretariat on overall development of the Pestalozzi programme for Education Professionals in particular as regards the methodology and the development of the online Community of Practice;ii) Lead, train and support all the facilitators of our training activities;iii) Direct the Pestalozzi Summer School, on a yearly basis (70 participants - international events);iv) Lead and coordinate the work of the moderators of the Pestalozzi Online Community of Practice to ensure that this social network/ community liberates its full potential for exchange, collaboration, mutual support and learningv) Attend regular planning meetings with the Council of Europe Secretariat and education committee; and report on the programme activities.

Community of practice (CoP) facilitator and trainer - Council of Europe's network of European education professionals, and moderator for an online network of 800 practitioners (European Wergeland Center). I also am contracted as the general Rapporteur for the Pestalozzi European Modules for Teacher Training - a “train the trainer” program involving 46 European countries and countries of the Euro-Mediterranean region, on the topic of education for sustainable democracy.

I developed recommendations and implementation for early learning/school readiness through mediation between education professionals and community lead organizations. I conducted focus groups and outcome assessments defining developmentally and culturally appropriate early learning and school readiness measures. I also organized leadership trainings for Ethiopian, Somali, Cambodian, Vietnamese, Iraqi, Ukrainian, Bosnian, Mexican, Native American and African American community leaders.

- I managed $300K/year adult education programs: fiscal and operational management of 5 adult education programs (ESL, Citizenship, Welfare to Work, Vocational programs). I developed successful fundraising activities; supervised a staff of 10-15 teachers, instructors, coordinators and family advocates; conducted community needs assessments, program evaluations and developed new programs.
