• Assist in implementing a successful solicitation strategy to find and maintain group business that enables the hotel to meet and/or exceed revenue goals in meeting rooms and food and beverage.• Manage all group and catering/banquet sales activities to maximize revenue for the hotel on site as well as off site. • Assist clients once event starts and ensure smooth running of the event• Manage a number of large conference Key Accounts together with the Meeting & Events Manager and work out an action plan to achieve group targets • Solicit new and existing accounts to meet/exceed revenue goals. This will consist of telephone solicitation, outside sales calls, site inspections, and written communication and file maintenance. • Develop banquet & conference documentation and pricing together with Chef and F&B Manager, using current competitive data.• Perform after sales once event is finalized• Maintain knowledge of market, competition and customers.

* Supporting the Sales Team with sales related tasks and administration for the department.* Making analyses and doing research for the department, making minutes and participate actively during meetings.* Coordinate sales trips for team members.* Maintain contact with guests / potential clients per telephone or e-mail. "SalesForce". * Giving show arounds to clients and supporting the entire Sales & Marketing team if required.
