I am in charge of the molecular modeling (computer-aided and fragment-based drug design, virtual screening, ligand optimisation, protein modeling...). Close interactions with medicinal chemists, structural biologists and biophysics scientists, and fully integrated in the drug discovery team.I focus on binding site analysis (protein - ligand interactions, ligand conformation) when analysing virtual screening results or for ligand optimisation.I manage chemical libraries (diversity, meeting the needs for medicinal chemistry...).Experimental validation of the in silico data I generated is the best reward.NovAliX is a contract research organization (mergin of AliX and Novalyst Discovery) specialized in chemistry, protein structure determination by X-ray crystallography and structure-based drug design. We offer a toolbox for drug discovery with a range of services including medicinal chemistry, protein X-ray structure determination, fragment-based drug design, pure protein delivery, ligand screening using non-covalent mass spectrometry, and NMR (solution and solid states).
