- Responsibility for strategic projects- Coordination of standardization strategy development - Organization of the national debate on European and International strategy devevelopment in the field of standardization- Setting up and running the national steering and coordination committee for standardization- Key expert for standardization in the European IPA Project to support the development of quality infrastructure in Montenegro

Contributor to:- studies in the field of standardization (e.g. a study commissioned by the government of Denmark on standards for services);- feasibility studies for possible future standards (e.g. a study undertaken by AFNOR for a private client);- technical assistance projects aiming to strengthen the quality and conformity assessment infrastructure of countries relevant to the EU neighbouring policy.

- To manage the operation and continuous improvement of the core process for the development of European Standards, their delivery, implementation and maintenance.- To ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of innovative standards in line with market, customer and user needs.- To develop and to maintain constructive relationships with key players, partner organizations and European institutions.- To lead technical negotiations with industry and the European Commission over market access issues. - To develop, communicate and implement the policy framework for standards development activities.- To develop interactions with the European regulators and European interest groups- To reduce process lead times and to optimize operational costs.- To manage 5 Unit Managers to run a department of 30 in total (programme managers, editors and data assistants).- To participate in the overall budget exercise and to make optimal usage of the allocated budget.

- To develop supporting services in the sectors of Information Technologies and Telecommunications, Air and Space, Automotive, Oil & Gas, Railway, Transport and Energy.- To provide services to market players and public authorities with a yearly turnover of 2 million euros for the department.-To develop new standardization services with specific business models, such as a web-based collaborative platform on ICT consortiums – see www.standarmedia.com - To manage a team of 28 project managers and assistants.

- To develop and to sell supporting services to businesses and public authorities in the field of environmental protection, ISO 14 000, recycling, air, water and soil quality.- To serve as rapporteur to the national steering committee. - To support the ISO committee on environmental management and product Life-Cycle Assessment.- To coordinate the development of products derived from environmental standardization: awareness-raising, promotion events, training, consultancy, handbooks.- To coach a team of 5 project managers on contracting and commercial issues.

- To provide supporting services to businesses in the field of materials and energy.- To serve as rapporteur and secretary to the national steering committees for the Oil & Gas Industry and for the Chemical Industry.- To serve as secretary to international and European specification groups for lubricants and bitumen.

To teach two courses to first and second year students in geotechnical engineering (resistance of materials and continuous medium mechanics).
