ScienceGuide is a news platform focused on higher education and research in the Netherlands and the rest of the European Union.Annually over 600.000 people visit the site, most of them active in higher education and research.Next to the website ScienceGuide organizes events to 'celebrate' knowledge, for example on the 2014 Hannover Messe ScienceGuide organized the glasshouse in which the most inspiring people from Dutch high-tech and education gave presentations and joined discussions. Among the visitors were State Secretary Sander Dekker and the Spinoza prize winners Mikhail Katsnelson and Piek Vossen.

The BKB Academy allows young talent to take advantage of the expertise and network of the campaigning agency BKB. The BKB Academy was set up in 2000.Every year, BKB selects a group of around 25 participants. Those selected are critical, socially involved and creative.BKB organizes an academy session every month. Experts from different industries who have made a name for themselves in and outside of the Netherlands are invited to speak at these sessions.The theme that links all the sessions is running a (political) campaign and everything that that entails. Which campaign resources do you have at your disposal? How do you successfully convey a message? How do you make a good strategic concept work in practice?BKB Academy participants are also able to develop practical skills. BKB regularly invites participants to help carry out campaigns and research. This is a good way to earn some extra money, but also a unique opportunity to put knowledge and skills into practice.

Dit doen we door in gesprek te gaan met de landelijke politiek en belangenorganisaties, door studenten te voorzien van juridisch advies, studenten te trainen in bepaalde vaardigheden en door onze lokale lidbonden te ondersteunen. Ook ondersteunen we de medezeggenschap op hogescholen en universiteiten via SOM en LOF.We zetten ons met name in voor de kwaliteit en de toegankelijkheid voor het hoger onderwijs. Iedereen die de motivatie en het talent heeft om te studeren, moet de studie kunnen van zijn/haar keuze kunnen volgen.Bij de LSVb werken vijftien tot twintig studenten met passie en plezier voor de belangen en rechten van studenten.
