I believe in team work and in sustainable software development. To be strong and go forward with confidence we have to work as a team at every company level. Within your own team, in the relations with the other departments, and with the philosophy of the company. All the company's moving pieces have their needs and taking them into accounts while maintaining a good communication is the key to a solid product and a motivating environment.Personnally I like to apply a good software development practice, such as the sustainable software development, participate in designs, and discuss with all the people involved in the projects. I like the pair programming approach for designs, programming, or testing. The pair programming gives more focus, allow knowledge transfer, creates better solutions, and it is a great learning opportunity.I give a particular importance to clean code which gives us confidence in modifying the code, build on it, and deliver subsequent versions more easily. Cutting in clean code is developing using a credit card, since the interest will catch up. The system will become potentially unstable and will make us hesitate when we would like to add functionality, make the code better, or simply fix problems. I'm not saying that we should not use shortcuts sometimes, but it should be the exception and some time should be reserved to tackle the worst ones.I read "Clean Code" and "Clean Coder". These two books mainly share the vision that I have of software development.
