I am exceptional at building relationships with upper-level decision makers, seizing control of essential areas of a problem, and delivering on customer commitments.I started my career by chance in 2003, working to raise sponsorship funds for rising video game tournaments. My role would serve as a proving ground for the patience and perseverance required in startups. The apex of my experience in e-sports came as a technical director in charge of molding the next installment of Microsoft's game, HALO. Not long after, e-sports would be worth billions, and Halo would be one of the most successful franchises in history. My technical implementations repurposed to serve as a backbone for 3D particle/ fluid dynamics simulations on feature films produced by Warner Brothers, Disney, and Paramount. In 2012, particle simulation heavily resembled programmatic bidding systems emerging in AdTech. A lightbulb went off, I bootstrapped a self-engineered high-frequency-ad-buying platform, raised over 4 million shortly after, and sold the company eight years in with over 6,000 B2B users. Currently I am the CEO of Alpine IQ; a customer data, loyalty, marketing, and analytics platform. The goal since day one has been to bring world-class technology to niches ripe for disruption. With Alpine IQ, I wanted to build technology that would genuinely fuel modern business infrastructures. Since publicly launching Alpine IQ, we have partnered with over 4000+ storefronts to level up their business. I bootstrapped and grew out of profitability, recording only 750k in burn since inception. We recently completed our first acquisition and are launching multiple new products this year. We are now 80+ staff, 35m+ ARR, and hungrier than ever to continue our pace of innovation.
