StartupsMansion create an experience where 30 entrepreneurs, over 3 months,created startups and new ventures in New York City and pitch them to investors. Toget larger international exposure for the ventures, a professional video team recorded and broadcasted the experience, in a weekly 15 minute online video productionto build an audience for the projects, entrepreneurs, startups, sponsors, and partners.StartupsMansion is a unique program that, for the first time, combines anentrepreneur’s residence and an incubator, offering a living/working space in the cityof New York where top innovators can develop their projects, and be supported byaccomplished mentors and successful entrepreneurs from Spain and the New Yorkarea.

Orange (France Telecom) is the second Telecom operator in Spain with a 27% share of the market and over 20MM clients, and one of the largest players in Telecom industry in Europe.EOI is the main public business school in Spain, and the first to be founded in 1955, with over 55.000 alumni and an open campus with over 1.200 associated teachers, with a strong presence of business professionals.#Lánzate is a program for spanish startups who get access to a series of one on one mentorship sessions with the main CEOs and General Managers in Spain of top tier tech companies like Microsoft, Orange, HP, Facebook, SONY Pictures, Ericsson, ING… In this program I’m a member of the team that designs the program features and rules, define communication strategies, be a member of the selection committee, and organize the pitch competition for the final selection of participants. As Product Manager, I'm in charge of develop a network of collaborators that help us to spread the voice of the program, and get their startups into the competition, these partners are Incubators, accelerators, both public, private or public/private initiatives, Corporate startup Programs, Startup Organizations, and any other initiative that involves Startups and Entrepreneurs as their main focus. In 2016 Orange Telecom and EOI(Escuela de organización industrial) set up a program (Se Digital) to develop digital skills in the basic segment of local business and independent professionals in Spain, this program is developed locally with the help of local or regional governments all over Spain. Since then over 10.000 students has applied to attend this online classes, with a 35% success rate, which is remarkable being a free course.Since March 2017 I’m in charge of build and maintain an online community for these “Se Digital” alumni, nurturing it with content, activities, events info, etc… Nowadays this community is over 730 members and over 500 active members.

Bridge for Billions is an initiative that aims to democratize entrepreneurship all over the world, their main product is their online incubator program "The Leap", where the entrepreneurs, supported by mentors, works to define their first challenges as an entrepreneur, find or define a business model, get their first KPI's, figure out what their product or clients are, etc.. After finishing the program they get a Visual Business Plan that can help them to start strongest with their project.As a mentor, I use my experience to help the participants to solve the first doubts they can have as they start their ventures, through the tools provided by the platform, and with the meetings we hold during the program.

Conector is one of the main Startup Accelerator in Spain, their philosophy relies strongly in the work with mentors, they organize themselves as a Board that accompany the startups all over the program, and many of them stay in the Startups after the program finishes as advisers.After being Program Manager for Madrid in the past months, I'll stay into the Conector network as a Mentor for future programs.

Conector is a startup accelerator specialized in seed phase. The company was born in 2013 by eight big businessmen: Carlos Blanco, Marc Ros, Xavier Verdaguer, Risto Mejide, Marc Vidal, Gerard Olivé, Miguel Vicente and Eli Martínez. To date they have collaborated with leading startups such as Glovo, Kompyte, Hey Go, Meller, Santafixie, Tu & CO, IGlobalMed, iAmarre, PopPlaces, GOI and Scanloteria.Conector offers entrepreneurs weekly training sessions, free space in their offices, support and advice from professionals who work and collaborate with the accelerator, networking, access to the entrepreneurial nuclei of each ecosystem and, most importantly, a board of mentors. They also support and advise in the search for investment.The accelerator performs, at least, an average of two calls per year in each city. Each selected startup has between three and five mentors who will support you throughout the acceleration program, through periodic individual and group meetings. Conector is distinguished from other accelerators by its ability to offer mentors appropriate to the profile of each project and entrepreneur. That is, they seek complicity between mentor and entrepreneur.As program manager in Madrid, I’m in charge of the execution of the accelerator programs of Conector in Madrid, from checking and managing the deal flow of startups that apply, help and inform the startups through the application and dealing process, organize and schedule the program boards, mentor-startup seasons, to Startup day and demo day with investors at the end of the program, and being the face of the program in Madrid Startup scene, attracting new applicants and dealing with potential partners that run one of our programs under a branded-White label model.

Madrid International LAB was set up by Madrid Local Goverment Innovation Department to attract and retain foreign entrepreneurial talent in Madrid. It is located at the old Municipal Laboratory, at Calle Bailén 41.There are three different services or actions within the Madrid International LAB project:Madrid SoftLanding: This service is designed to help foreign companies which are already established in their own countries to set up in Madrid. They are offered personalised advisory services to meet their needs and help them with market research. If the company does eventually decide to set up in Madrid, it is also offered support for the incorporation process.Start Up Madrid: A service which is specifically designed to retain entrepreneurial talent among foreign students at Madrid’s prestigious business schools, as well as foreign entrepreneurs linked to certain Technology Accelerators.Projects at the building can use the facilities for a period of 6 months completely free as a coworking space.Events: The centre also has a conference room where we organise and host events related to the Startup, Tech and Innovation scene of Madrid. Some of these events are organised by Madrid Local Government and others by different players in the city’s international landscape, which are gaining increasing importance on the city’s international entrepreneurial scene.As the manager, my main role and activities are:- Set up and manage the events agenda.- Provide support to the resident Startups.- Design and execute local and international promotion of the building and its programs and activities.- Improve agreements and cooperation with both, local and international, institutions, organizations, accelerators, and Startup and Entrepreneurial communities and initiatives.- Manage the building facilities and provide proper feedback of the activities and programs to the local government.
