Project: Velpula Vanam: Design and Develop a Sustainable Residential CommunityProject Description:This project involves designing and developing a residential plot layout on a 28-acre land. The goal is to create a well-planned community with essential infrastructure and amenities for 300 plots. The design will consider factors like plot size, road network, green spaces, and access to amenities. The project emphasizes environmental sustainability and aims to create a self-sustaining community with a high standard of living.Tasks Performed:• Enhanced the construction project through comprehensive leadership, overseeing the entire lifecycle from initiation to successful completion while integrating engineering principles to achieve optimal structural integrity and performance.• Utilized geotechnical expertise to conduct thorough assessments of soil conditions, enabling informed foundation design decisions and ensuring the stability and durability of structures.• Established effective collaboration with architects, engineers, and contractors, translating complex technical drawings into practical construction plans while adhering to stringent engineering standards.• Implemented robust quality control measures throughout the construction process, conducting meticulous inspections to ensure strict compliance with engineering specifications and industry best practices.• Provided expert technical guidance to construction teams, leveraging deep knowledge of structural engineering to troubleshoot challenges and optimize construction methodologies for enhanced efficiency and safety.

Project: Water for All: Mission Bhageeradha - Transforming Lives with Safe Drinking Water Project Description:Mission Bhageeradha is a government initiative in Telangana, India, launched in 2016. It aims to provide safe drinking water to every household in the state by establishing a pipeline network, constructing water treatment plants, and implementing advanced technologies. The mission also focuses on water conservation and rejuvenation of water bodies. By improving access to clean water, Mission Bhageeradha aims to enhance the health and well-being of the people, especially women and children, while addressing water scarcity and contamination challenges.Tasks Performed:• Visited several villages to design a Ground Level Balancing Reservoir (GLBR) of 30KL capacity and an Overhead Balancing Reservoir (OHBR) of 40KL capacity.• In the design process, we obtained population data from the 2011 census, provided by the RWS Department, to inform hydraulic calculations. Hydraulic statements were then prepared, considering factors such as pipeline diameter, hydraulic gradient line, friction loss, static head, and residual head at each node.• To ensure optimal performance, the pipe diameter was optimized to meet the minimum residual head requirement of 6m at the ground level (GL).
