My goal is to make BaseN as successful as possible, leveraging the unique team of people I've been able to get together.The future world is about the Internet of Things. A world of Spimes. The real industrial revolution begins when physical objects are considered extensions and mere physical incarnations of virtual objects. Both are complementary and equally irreplaceable, but at the same time completely replaceable, updateable and interchangeable elements of an extensible cyber-physical environment. This ecosystem runs on Big Data - the current and past state of the object itself, its peers, and any external services that could conceivably affect its performance. We call these hybrid cyber-physical objects Spimes.Since the Spime is not just a digital mirror of your device or application, but rather a combination of incoming data, algorithms, and actions (to and from sources that range from the very simple to the very complex) - we need a platform that is capable of the relevant Big Data access, and arbitrarily complex logic, interfacing, and communications. This is where the spime lives. This is the solution we at BaseN are creating a foundation for.
