I renewed the marketing strategy and the distribution network. New products were successfully launched. Main customer contacts were in the Nordic countries, Baltics and Russia. Sales management of products and services for the forest industry.

I was manager of a company network delivering projects and services to the mining and construction industry in the Barents area. I analyzed business opportunities in mines and large infra projects in Finland and arctic areas. I consulted the companies and arranged negotiations with large construction sites. The network included 45 companies and they got orders of EUR 36 million.

Management of a high-tech company delivering machine vision systems and services for the plywood industry. New applications were created and product marketing was renewed. Turnover was EUR 4 million, 24 employees.

Sales management of global automation business.

I made market and competitor analyses which I reported to corporate top management, business owners and sales organization.

Management of a business line developing testing systems. Main customer contacts were in Europe, Japan and USA.

I started up the new China office in Shanghai and employed 20 persons. Main tasks were marketing and sales as well as skills development. Products included sensors and automation systems for the pulp and paper industry. Project engineering and customer service was developed locally. Business grew to a level of EUR 7 million.

I took care of sales management for South-America, UK, Russia and Asia-Pacific. I developed the distribution network with local offices and sales agents. Customers included pulp and paper plants.
