Over 40 years of experience in Department of Defense related programs including over 25 years in Manned and Unmanned Ground Vehicles. Retired Department of the Army Civilian responsible for the technical development of the Robotic Combat Vehicle (RCV) demonstrators for Human Machine Integration (HMI) experimentation leading to product acquisition. Prior background has included Executive Management, Chief Technology Officer, Program Director, Technical Director, Program Manager, and Chief Engineer. Background includes experience in design/development of Tracked and Wheeled Combat Vehicles, Robotics and Autonomous Systems Integration, other military systems including Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), helicopters and fighter aircraft, ships, along with development/integration of advanced technologies defining the future. Experience includes executive leadership with global technical and business expertise in leading large-scale, multi-plant business projects and serving as program director with oversight of Major Defense Acquisition Programs. Technical Leadership included Chief Technology Officer, with responsibility of Advanced Programs with Agencies including DARPA, ARL, ARDEC, TARDEC and other agencies. Has successfully created solutions through collaborative initiatives with domestic and international partners; managed and grew business sectors and programs leading to revenue growth and earnings. Background includes management of the design/development of other military systems including Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), helicopters and fighter aircraft. Over 20 years as a director and corporate executive, managing P/L, manufacturing, and Research & Development. Senior program management experience, including management of programs valued at over $1B. Proven track record in successfully leading large program teams of multi-function organizations, including multinational procurements and integrated system development. Demonstrated success in program execution to achieve customer expectations. Community services as past director on the board of the Macomb County Chamber of Commerce, and current director on the board of the Sterling Heights Community Foundation.
