I am a dedicated and skilled professional with a solid educational background and hands-on experience in the technology industry. I hold an NDT in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Moratuwa and a BSc (Hons) in Computer Systems and Networks Engineering from Solent University, Southampton.I began my career with an internship at Hayleys Fentons Pvt Ltd, where I gained valuable experience in ELV systems and networking. Currently, I am working as an Analyst at Wavenet International, where I have been since February 2023. In this role, I specialize in:Identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving issues, escalating to L2 engineers when necessary within SLA timelines.Handling L1 tasks such as clearing system alarms, monitoring, and responding to network and system alerts to minimize downtime.Supporting USSD/IVR products, ensuring smooth operation and high performance.Managing support tickets through Freshdesk, monitoring system health and performance using Zabbix, Grafana, and Nagios.Providing exceptional support to customers worldwide, ensuring their diverse needs are met through strong communication and problem-solving skills.Hands-on experience with Linux, including installation, configuration, and monitoring of remote servers using PUTTY.I am committed to continuous learning and development, currently pursuing RHCSA certification to further enhance my technical skills.
