My official titles are project manager, supply chain specialist and strategic sourcing executive.But, my role goes beyond these titles.Of course, I’m well versed in product lifecycle cost management, meeting deadlines and budgets, continuous improvement and contract negotiation. But I’m also a team builder, a coach and I get a boost of adrenaline when faced with what seems like an insurmountable problem.My background, while traditional, is more extensive than what is seems. The aerospace,railway and industrial manufacturing industries—where I spent more than 25 years and learned how to resolve problems and overcome challenges, both internally and internationally—also gave me the opportunity to understand what makes a successful new product development launch and experience the benefits of choosing and developing relationships with the right suppliers. This is where I’ve perfected my ability to align teams in overcoming conflicting interests to work towards common goals while taking a collaborative approach. I understand communication is key to obtaining alignment and creating workflow. That’s why I first built trust as a means to be more effective in challenging environments with multi-disciplinary teams.After leaving Bombardier, I followed my passion for infusing effective organization into daily operations and delivering innovative business solutions and started a consulting business. I Identified and capitalized on opportunities to drive profitability and value in the hospitality market and for personal coaches. I believe there is always something new to learn and challenged myself in acquiring new skills in online marketing and social media strategies to increase my client base. I pushed my boundaries even further in developing and implementing negotiation, communication and sales strategies to increase growth of my clients.In essence, my passion for planning and organization is strengthened by an expertise for resolving problems in challenging environments when stakes are high but, always keeping a big-picture vision. I’m not the type of leader who just expedite people to meet deadlines. I’m a professional who actually wants to plan—and collaborate, get my hands dirty, and lead.
