Villar Perosa - Supb Factory

Totally I’m managing a team of 150 people (with a staff of 5 people) working in three different areas: hard turining, grinding and honing channels, customization area. Moreover I have also the responsibility of Quality service. The main challenges are linked with the implementation of lean principles to achieve people involvement, stock reduction, total throughput time reduction, efficiency and flexibility increase (high frequency and small batch size).KPI to be followed: deliveries and service level (broken promises and availability), stock level, cost level, efficiency, productivity, scrap rate, customer complaints, throughput time, resetting time, WCP (working climate process).

Torino - Super Precision Bearings Factory

Totally I’m managing a team of 120 people (with a staff of 7 people) working in four different areas: cage production, heat-treatment, grinding and honing channels, customization area. Moreover I have also the responsibility of Quality service. The main challenges in the role are linked to the integration between SNFA and SKF, and the implementation of lean principles to achieve people involvement, stock reduction, total throughput time reduction, efficiency and flexibility increase (high frequency and small batch size).KPI to be followed: deliveries and service level (broken promises and availability), stock level, cost level, efficiency, productivity, scrap rate, customer complaints, throughput time, resetting time, WCP (working climate process).

Manufacturing Excellence (ME) Engineer in the Industrial Division Central Team: Coach/Trainer for factories team (factory manager, management team, local facilitator, production manager), Knowledge of main lean tools (VSM, QCO, 5S, TPM, Levelling, Standardized Work, Daily Management, Pull system, Problem Solving and Kaizen), support the factories to integrate Factory strategy and priorities with ME vision: “What do we want to achieve with ME?”, support the factories to define their “roadmap” and follow-up, Coach local ME team to build an environment for daily structured problem solving involving all levels of the organization, Create a network between all Italian factories and a network between production managers of different facotries, organize and run training sessions based on factory needs as change management, leadership style, lean tools, Train the Trainer course.

Bari Area, Italy - Dgbb Factory

As ME local facilitator the main task has been to drive and facilitate ME implementation in the factory: Vision and mission definition, Training & Education, Cultural change, Daily Management implementation, Kaizen events, Processes Standardization, MUDA analysis and elimination, Resetting time reduction, SMED approach with Video Analysis, 5S & Visual Management, Value stream mapping, Six Sigma projects (DMAIC).As Industrial Engineer the main activities were:Yearly business plan and monthly manufacturing forecast calculation and analysis, Production channels balance load, People number management, Production processes definition, Factory KPI analysis & improvement (Efficiency, Productivity, Resetting time, Net-output, throughput time, lead time, stocks), Maintenance data analysis (MTBF, MTTR, D-time, Planned-Unplanned ratio), Manufacturing costs analysis & cost reduction studies, New businesses implementation (APQP approach); Standard Costs calculation.

In Accenture I was involved on several projects:September ’04 – August ’05: “OPERA” project in “AIR LIQUIDE SANITÀ” in Milan, Business Integration project based on SAP R/3. I worked in the Change Management team for Business Processes definition, training material definition for modules FI and MM, Profiles test for FI and MM modules, teacher in FI and MM courses for end users and focal point for the support on site to the end users in MM area (Bari, Bologna, Napoli, Catania, Verona, Milan factories).April ’04 – August ’04: “UPGRADE & MERGE” project in “ENI S.p.A.”, update SAP release from release 4.5 to release 4.7; focal point for PS module.July ’03 – March ’04: “GENESIS” project in “Snam Rete Gas”, Business Integration project based on SAP R/3, SAP BW, SAP SEM and significant custom implementations; I worked in PS and IM module team for functional analysis of some custom implementations, integration and user test, coding batch input in ABAP, creating and organizing web courses for the end users. June ’03: course at C.P.E. (Center Professional Education) in St. Charles (Chicago-U.S.A.): “Business and Development of a Project”.
