Data science and research to improve synergies between agriculture and solar panel production (AgriPV)

Designed a data strategy to map Togo socio-economic infrastructures with primary data collected on the field

Led the development of two Open-Source Tech platforms in WFP:● Data Library (WFP first Open Data platform for survey data)● Survey Designer (a questionnaire library to standardise field assessments)

Head of the Data unit (RAM) for WFP Libya operation ● Led research on the IOM/WFP publication: Hunger, displacement and migration to assess needs of migrants in Libya● Designed an agriculture assessment (remote sensing and field data collection) in Southern Libya● Developed a Web app to manage and map food distribution figures

At WFP HQ, I participated in the creation of the first Data Science unit in charge of improving Food Security analysis in the UN:● Managed a partnership with Mobile Network Operators and Flowminder Foundation to monitor population displacements in near real-time through mobile phone metadata (CDRs)● Set-up remote food security monitoring systems (mVAM) in the Middle East and Africa● Developed (in Python) an AI algorithm to predict poverty from satellite imageries● Gave regional and country trainings on data analysis methods to WFP colleagues

● Assisted the data collection and analysis in the Randomized Control Trial “Financial Inclusion for the Rural Poor in Peru”● Prepared the end-line survey of the Ultra Poor Graduation programme
