As a key developer of Obi ESG, I played a pivotal role in the establishment and growth of the company, which was specifically designed to address the growing significance of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors in property management. At Obi ESG, our platform enables funds to effectively manage and report on numerous ESG factors and metrics accross property assets on a global scale.In my position, I took charge of overseeing various aspects of ESG management, ensuring seamless integration of ESG practices into property portfolios. I was responsible for monitoring and tracking progress across entire portfolios, employing automated data collection from IoT and ISO14001/ ISO50001 Audits and reporting procedures..My role involved empowering clients by providing them with a simplified, one-stop-shop solution for ESG management. I developed the Obi ESG platform to facilitate efficient data collection, and analysis, towards insightful reporting, assisting informed decision-making for our clients.Throughout my tenure, I actively collaborated with cross-functional teams, including facility managers, energy auditors, sustainability specialists, and data analysts, to ensure alignment with EU standards such as SFRD and EU Taxonomy and best practices in ESG. I consistently aimed to drive positive change and enhance sustainability performance within the property development and retrofit sector, with an emphasis on Green Leases and split incentives.
