Raised in the Appalachian Foothills of Tennessee and educated as a high school teacher and coach, God's leading has lead to teaching assignments in the Cincinnati, Ohio area and Nashville, TN. After being drafted in 1970, there was a distinct "call" to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and this has lead to 40+ years of ministry in Tennessee; Miami, FL; Arlington, VA; Oskaloosa, IA; Big Spring TX and Leesburg, VA. There has been a strong draw to be involved in community services alongside the call to pastoral ministry. This has lead to supporting organized efforts connected with governmental "watchdogs" in Washington D.C. to raise and maintain awareness of Biblical moral values in politics and the marketplace. For 12 years, there has been a daily involvement as Chaplain of the INOVA Hospitals, Loudoun County Sheriff's Dept., Fire and Rescue (Hamilton N-617) and the Council of Governments (COG) of Washington D.C. (Chaplain).
