A review of employment and educational history speaks to my being a life-long learner. Eclectic may be an apt descriptor. After serving as a cavalry officer, I returned to the States and pursued a Masters. Have served as an ELCA Lutheran pastor for 40 years. During those years, my interest and skill set lead me to being heavily involved in nonprofit and community organizations, primarily in organizational development, leadership roles, publicity, and fund raising. As my employment history demonstrates, those same interest and skills led to teaching an Introduction to Economics course at a university, writing a weekly newspaper column that addressed religious and public education issues on alternate weeks, and providing research/consulting in both private and nonprofit settings. I have been elected to a school board, a zoning board, and also became a licensed youth soccer coach. "I'll do what I can with what I have where I am" and "Am I struggling to have integrity with the teachings of my faith and it's inherent implications?" are two favorite expressions. Blessings all
