As a Manager- Monitoring and Impact assessment at United Way of Chennai, I lead and oversee research projects that evaluate the effectiveness and impact of various social interventions and programs. I collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, such as donors, partners, beneficiaries, and staff, to design and implement research methodologies, tools, and indicators that align with the organization's vision and goals.I have a Master of Social Work - MSW from St Josephs College Arts Science, where I specialized in Clinical/Medical Social Work, and a Bachelor of Commerce - BCom from the same institution. I have 7 years and 6 months of experience in research and project management, working with different nonprofit and public health organizations, such as the National Institute Of Epidemiology. I have advanced proficiency in various data visualization and analysis tools, such as Microsoft Office, Epicollect-5, SPSS, Power BI, and Atlas.ti. I have also obtained multiple certifications in data science, power BI, and lean data approaches to measure social impact. I am passionate about using research and data to inform and improve social policies and practices, and to empower and uplift marginalized and vulnerable communities. I am motivated by the challenges and opportunities that arise from working in a dynamic and diverse environment, and by the learning and growth that I experience from collaborating with different teams and experts.
