About Paulo Vasconcelos

I joined Nokia at December of 2012 as a LTE Network Planning & Optimization engineer supporting project set-up and roll-out activities. Shortly after I became Team Leader and SPOC for several of the most important projects. August of 2015 I was nominated Operational Coordinator of Network Design & Deployment activities.My journey as a Continuous Improvement leader initiated in 2016 when I started running quality improvement programs centered in Global Services in order to achieve sustainable results according to KPI performance.After being the responsible for the end-to-end audit management and execution of business critical assessments for the Nokia processes, I am leading the Documents and Records Management team, and also I am the Privacy Lead supporting Supply & Procurement tools for Global Business Services (GBS).By the end of 2014, understanding the urgency to have in place the best market practices, I’ve acquired project management certification (PMP®) as a self-development initiative. This learning experience confirmed to be the professional path I would like to take forward.During my time in the industry I’ve develop the ability to integrate and adjust to change and embrace it a personal challenge, drive processes management and standardization mindset together with a Customer oriented focus. I’ve been developing my leadership skills to improve my ability as a way to manage project priorities and build effective project teams. This has started since my University times when I was elected, three times, President of the Students Association Board at engineering faculty of the University of Porto.
