- Develop a proof-of-concept of a web-based user interface for visualization of the simulation results for buildings’ thermal analysis.

- Develop an advanced research tool equipped with data analysis and visualization tools to bring together all relevant data for patients treated for heart failure with cardiac resynchronization therapy.- Bring the Pacertool System from the piloting phase to a complete state enabling clinical studies.- Work closely with clinicians in preparing, setting up and running the Pacertool System during research and experiments at a hospital.- Develop 2D data visualization and 3D visualization of the patient specific anatomy enhanced with GL shaders.- Port the entire code of the Pacertool System and an internal library from Qt4 to Qt5.- Perform efficient computations of steady states in large-scale ODE model of biochemical reaction networks.- Contribute to AMICI (https://amici.readthedocs.io/en/latest/) by developing a solver for an adjoint problem that circumvents backward numerical integration and requires solving a system of linear algebraic equations.- Present obtained results on an annual meeting of the CanPathPro project (https://www.canpathpro.eu).

- Joint work together with the partner Simula Research Laboratory on cardiac modelling techniques for body fluid flow and heartbeat.- Develop various robust and accurate tools for the electrical and mechanical behaviour of heart tissue.
