The heads of department of the Emergency Dispatch Center and the dispatchers who work at the Emergency Dispatch Center have to keep in mind the rules of rescuing, and represent the association and it's reputation during work. They must keep in mind the rescue of people’s lives, ease the occurred or not occurred damages, moreover they should not forget about the possibility of the further damages. They have to make decisions according to these viewpoints. As the leader of the system, they need to show example to the ones who fulfill services as it was written down earlier.My primary responsibilities:• Being first-in-charge in the Emergency Dispatch Center• Being immediate leader and supervisor of hundreds lifeguards• Expecting and handling emergency calls• Keeping in touch with the stations that belong to the Emergency Dispatch Center and also the cooperating organizations (like Water Police Department, Ambulance, Meteorology Service of Hungary) • Supervising more than one radio channel (marine VHF radio), moreover publishing the latest weather forecast on these channels (focused on the storms)• Writing down every communication and event. Documenting the directions of the boats• Keeping in touch with the crew of the rescue boat, besides that paying attention to the recent direction of them with the help of tracking system• Organizing the rescue of the people and also the equipment's, if necessary alarming the Diving Service Show less
