I’m a partner of a law firm whose practice is dedicated primarily to the defense of public entities and public officials, including police officers, educators, and other public sector employees. My practice includes law enforcement, professional, general, and employment practices liability, as well as business litigation. I have tried several cases to verdict in state and federal court, which have included claims of unlawful Taser deployments, civil rights violations under 42 U.S.C. § 1983, false arrest, unlawful search and seizure, First Amendment retaliation, Fourth Amendment violations, assault, negligence, breach of contract, and CUTPA. In 2015, I participated in a five week jury trial in New Haven Superior Court that resulted in a defendant's verdict. Since 2015, I've also served by appointment as a Hearing Officer for the Town of Rocky Hill.
