Issue solicitations, evaluate responses, and negotiate terms to establish contracts for use by statewide agencies in accordance with the SC Consolidated Procurement Code and Regulations. Determine best source selection method (IFB, RFP) for procuring necessary goods and services. Develop specifications and purchasing strategies for required goods and services. Advise agency buyers on application of the SC Consolidated Procurement Code and Regulations. Administer all contracts established to include dispute resolution, order expediting, and change orders.

Organized the procurement function for this national company specializing in treatment of sleep and seizure disorders. Manage expenditures for over 200 sleep labs, EEG, durable medical equipment offices and other locations nationally. Oversee administration of medical supply and repair parts inventory, cell phones, facility security, shipping, and procurement of office supplies, printing, medical disposables, and capital equipment. Reconcile invoice issues with vendors. Negotiate contracts with both national and local vendors. Developed sleep lab inventory models based on usage to reduce stock levels. Realized $500K in savings in reduced costs in each year. Set up no cost benefit programs for employee discounts.
