Born in St. Boniface, Manitoba. Grew up in London until 1978 when she moved to Los Angeles for eight years, followed by eighteen months in Hawaii where her daughter was born. She began writing at 6-years-old and published her first novel in 2006. In the years between she wrote continuously, using each novel to hone her skills.She held a variety of jobs, everything from a horse groomer at a Standardbred stud farm to Novell network engineer in Bermuda. It all makes good fodder for fiction. She attends writing conventions and took a week long intensive workshop with a highly noted teacher, James N Frey.She is currently writing full time and since 2006 have had 13 crime novels published. Currently writing historical fiction, primarily set in America in the late 1800s. She has been President of the London Writer's Society since 2011. She runs critique groups, teaches seniors, and is currently in her own critique group with Kelly Armstrong, a New York best-selling author.Specialties: research, writing, HTML, web graphic creation
