Tasks included preparation of internal financial reports, corporate reporting through HFM, account analysis and GAAP compliance. Manage five person team including accounts receivable staff, accounts payable staff and general accountant.   Led team that developed and initiated new internal ordering process that reduced input error rate by 50%. Analyzed and documented SOX compliant accounting procedures implementing changes in existing procedures where necessary to bring site in compliance with SOX.  Created finance department desk procedures manual that documented all tasks performed by finance personnel alleviating disruptions caused by resignations, illness and other employee absence. Major accomplishments include reduced time to HFM load from 5 days to 3.5 days, fixed asset verification resulting in 67% of NBV verified, DSO maintained at 45 days or lower, and monthly 100% balance sheet reconciliation and review.
