Mr. Cassidy has 30 years of experience in workforce services as an executive manager, program developer and trainer/consultant. As Principal of the Workforce Resource Group he provides strategic planning, facilitation, training and program development to clients, including state and local boards, business teams, and national associations. He has developed and delivered a variety of curriculums for local and national clients.As Senior Advisor to the National Association of Workforce Boards, he was responsible for professional development, grant management, curriculum development, and outreach as well as a content developer for NAWB’s annual national forum.Previously, as the Deputy Director of Maryland’s Governor’s Workforce Investment Board he coordinated the development and implementation of the State Board’s Unified Plan, annual action plans, the launch of Maryland’s first Health Summit, research, publications, and training initiatives. As the Executive Director for the MIETP (statewide training institute) he directed the development and delivery of curricula designed to increase workforce professionals staff capacity. During a career with the Mayor's Office of Employment Development he directed all financial/administrative functions,directed program operations for business services and youth programs, led the Baltimore City Foundation’s effort to generate funds for workforce programs, implemented business outreach programs to engage employers, led the team to implement one of the nation’s first One Stops and directed the agency’s occupational skill training operations. Mr. Cassidy holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Towson University and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Baltimore and has participated as an examiner for the Maryland Senate Baldrige Awards.Mr. Cassidy’s diverse skill set includes certification in Pilates and Personal Training and is active in both.
