Develop strategy, programs and products to create a college maker culture preparing students for meaningful careers. Created a network of 23 makerspaces, designed and funded 800 internships, which created relevant career pathways for hundreds of students.

Built and directed a multidisciplinary team of software engineers, capacity planners, performance engineers and operations experts responsible for overall reliability, availability, and efficiency of enterprise information technology solutions.

I led technical architecture efforts to ensure system reliability and performance for enterprise technology modernization programs.

I led site reliability, performance engineering and capacity planning efforts for the CA SOMS program, which consolidates and modernizes 40+ legacy systems supporting over 50K users to realize the department’s vision of applying innovative technology and streamlined business processes to improve offender management. I developed non-functional requirements, acted as reliability product owner, created technology & feature roadmaps, led performance and capacity planning and developed platform upgrade cycles to deliver site reliability, performance, and availability goals.

I provided solution architecture, technical architecture, engineering oversight and problem resolution expertise to ensure the scalability, reliability and interoperability of systems supporting VSP’s healthcare line of business, including claims processing, membership services, provider services, customer care, group sales, and billing. Collectively, these systems supported 80M members, 30K providers, and several thousand users.
